New Orleans area prep football games are getting rescheduled because of weather forecast

Football games between Rummel and John Curtis, along with St. Augustine and Chalmette, have been rescheduled to Thursday because of thunderstorms in the forecast for the weekend. Rummel and Curtis will play 8 p.m. Thursday at Joe Yenni Stadium instead of its original Saturday date at Tad Gormley Stadium. Also Thursday at Yenni are Warren Easton and Riverdale with a 4:30 p.m. start. St. Augustine and Chalmette will play 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Chalmette’s Bobby Nuss Stadium. Booker T.
