Santel, Cox Named Raising Cane’s Student-Athletes of the Month for September

St. Louis – University of Missouri-St. Louis volleyball standout Alayna Santel and men’s golfer Campbell Cox have been named the Raising Cane’s Student-Athletes of the Month for September after each turned in standout performances during the opening month of the 2026-27 academic year. Santel, a junior right side hitter from Albers, Ill., was a driving force for the Tritons throughout September. One of the month’s early highlights came at the Washburn Ichabod Classic, where she helped UMSL to a 3-0 weekend that included a reverse-sweep victory over then-No. 4 Washburn.
