Ducks sign Tristan Luneau to six-year extension
A very surprising deal for a relatively unproven player. On Thursday, the Anaheim Ducks announced that the team has signed defenseman Tristan Luneau to a six-year contract extension. The deal, set to kick in during the 2027-28 campaign, will carry an AAV of $7.2 million through the 2032-33 season. What’s bizarre about the value of the contract, as well as the term, is how little Luneau has spent in the NHL.
