Scotts battle Albion in three-set match
ALBION, Mich. — Alma (6-10,0-1 Michigan Intercol. Ath. Assn.) battled throughout Friday’s road match-up with Albion (13-2,1-0 Michigan Intercol. Ath. Assn.), but the Scots ultimately fell to the Britons in three sets, 25-15, 25-19, 25-20. Alma showed its resilience throughout the match, particularly in the final set. The Scots continued to compete point-for-point late, with a kill from Emily Carling bringing Alma within five at 22-19.
