Blazers Record Five Personal Bests at Belhaven Invitational

CLINTON, Miss. – De’Marion Sims and Peyton Vandevuss each recorded season-best 8K times while three members of the Belhaven women’s cross country team established personal bests Saturday at the Belhaven Invitational. The Blazer women finished sixth in the 10-team field with 174 points. Ashley Davidson led the team with a time of 28:14.4, good for 30th overall. Jocelyn Belonga followed in 35th place and took 2:46 off her previous 6K best with a time of 29:01.8. Courtney Adams crossed in 29:19.3 to finish 38th, improving her personal best by 1:08.
