Cowboys Compete At Chile Pepper Festival

FAYETTVILLE, Ark. – Hardin-Simmons men’s cross country team competed in the Prairie Fire Pepper 8K at the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival on Saturday, facing a large field of 179 runners from across the region. Freshman Aldo Sanchez paced the Cowboys with a 54 th -place finish, covering the 8-kilometer course in 28:05.9. He averaged a 5:39-per-mile pace and led a group of six Hardin-Simmons runners who completed the race.
