Haskell scores twice as Tigers open CFHC play with 5-1 win over Centre
SEWANEE, Tenn. – Molly Haskell scored twice, as the Tigers opened their conference slate with a 5-1 victory over Centre on Saturday morning at Puett Field in field hockey action. Sewanee struck with just 38 seconds left in the first period. The Tigers earned a penalty corner, and Caroline Bridges sent the initial shot toward goal. Centre goalkeeper Eliza Hensley made the save, but Molly Haskell collected the rebound and sent it into the back of the cage to give Sewanee a 1-0 lead heading into the second period.
