Coach Kevin Atkinson’s Family Fights PSP After Decades Coaching North Texas Football

Kevin Atkinson spent decades coaching high school football across North Texas, most recently at Marcus High School before retiring in 2023. Now his family is navigating his diagnosis of Progressive Supranuclear Palsy, a rare terminal brain disease that has stripped away much of his independence. The Atkinsons are sharing their story to raise awareness and ensure other families facing PSP don't have to go through it alone.
