Five Finish In Top 30 As Peacocks Impress At The Metropolitan Cross Country Championships

BROOKVILLE, N.Y . – The Saint Peter’s Cross Country team finish an impressive performance at the Metropolitan Championships on Saturday. The meet hosted this year by Long Island University, featured nearly 100 runners across the Metropolitan area, and the Peacocks came to race following an extended break after the canceling of the Paul Short Run last Friday, Oct. 2. Once the race started, the Saint Peter’s squad compiled an excellent day with five racers finishing within the top 30 in both the Men’s 8K and the Women’s 5K.
