RiverHawks Rally Past Newman for 3-1 Victory

TAHLEQUAH, Okla. – Northeastern State men's soccer rallied from an early deficit to defeat Newman 3-1 Saturday at DeLoache Field, closing out the match with three unanswered goals. Newman took a 1-0 lead in the 16th minute when Higor Werneck scored off an assist from Daiki Okada. The RiverHawks answered early in the second half. Harry Tremblez converted a penalty kick in the 48th minute to even the score before putting Northeastern State ahead in the 60th minute with his second goal of the match.
