Toronto FC’s Luka Gavran injured in collision with CF Montreal’s Prince Owusu, William Yarbrough debuts
Toronto FC goalkeeper Luka Gavran picked up an injury in the first half of the 401 Derby on Saturday, after being fouled by CF Montreal striker and ex-Reds teammate Prince Owusu. The play that caused it looked innocent enough. The ball was chipped over the backline into the Toronto FC box where Gavran snatched it, but as he did so Owusu bundled into him. The foul was called on Owusu and Gavran was down getting treatment for a couple of minutes before electing to continue playing.
