Georgetown Opens Fall Season with Five Podium Finishes

WASHINGTON – Georgetown University women’s rowing opened its fall season on Sunday, Oct. 11, with the openweight squad racing at the Navy Day Regatta in Philadelphia and the lightweights competing at the Occoquan Chase in Fairfax Station, Virginia. The Hoyas put crews on the podium in two openweight events, and the Second Varsity Eight and Third Varsity Eight each finished within seconds of a top-two spot.
