Formula 1 News: Piastri gave Norris car width, accident 100% Norris’ fault

On the final lap of Saturday’s Singapore Grand Prix Sprint, Lando Norris lunged down the inside of McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri at Turn 5, making contact that sent both cars spinning. Piastri hit the barrier and retired; Norris recovered to finish eighth for one point. Video of the incident shows Piastri turning in and then attempting to leave room on the inside as Norris arrived. –by Mark Cipolloni– The stewards investigated, heard from both drivers and the team, and reviewed video and onboard footage.
