MANKATO, Minn. -- The No. 7 Minnesota State women's soccer team sits third in the first update of the DII Women's Soccer NPI Rankings, while comfortably being first in the central region. The NCAA Power Index (NPI) is a ranking system used in college athletics that is used to evaluate a team's performance beyond just record. NPI considers game results, and strength of schedule to determine a team's NPI ranking. Calculations update throughout the season as teams play more games and opponents NPI value changes.
