Spartanburg, S.C. – Junior Elsa Maren Steinarsdóttir and freshman Marissa Scaletta each carded rounds of 3-over-par 75 on Monday to lead Western Carolina in the opening round of the Terrier Intercollegiate, helping the Catamounts sit eighth in the team standings and just two strokes outside the top five entering Tuesday’s final round.
