Kraatz, Johnson Lead Penguins at Westmont Invitational

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Avery Kraatz and Jacie Johnson each earned top-20 finishes Tuesday to lead Dominican women’s golf to seventh place at the Westmont Invitational at the par-73 Sandpiper Golf Club. Host Westmont captured the team championship at 16 over after rounds of 299 and 301, finishing 13 strokes ahead of runner-up Hawai’i Hilo at 29 over. Dominican followed an opening 318 with a three-stroke improvement Tuesday, carding a 315 to finish at 49 over.
