Northshore Volleyball Coach Celebrates 500th Win With Team

Northshore volleyball coach Danny Davis doesn’t talk much about his accomplishments. The 59-year-old is quick to turn the focus to his players and their performances when the Panthers secure a victory. Northshore has won a lot with Davis at the helm over the past 16 seasons, and on Oct. 13, the players and parents shone a light on their coach, who secured his 500th career win with a 25-18, 25-15, 18-25, 25-16 District 7-I win at Ponchatoula. “I’ve been very fortunate to have surrounded myself with some awesome, great kids who bought into what we’re trying to do,” Davis said.…
