Women’s Tennis Concludes ITA Regional Championship with Two Singles Victories

STANFORD, Calif. – Indiya McLeod and Maya Shanok picked up a pair of singles victories as University of the Pacific women's tennis team competed in the ITA Regional Championship, hosted by Stanford, at the Taube Family Tennis Center. McLeod and Shanok highlighted the tournament as the duo earned first-round wins on Friday, Oct. 9. Shanok kicked off the day with a 7-5, 2-6, 6-2 three-set victory over San Jose State's Soledad Fayos Capilla, and McLeod followed with a come-from-behind 4-6, 7-6 (5), 6-4 win over Marina Markina of Washington.
