Farah, Bassett lead cross country at Under Armour Pre-National

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — Men’s junior Salah Farah and women’s graduate student Kynzlei Bassett both delivered all-time top 50 performances as Bellarmine University cross country competed Friday in the Indiana State-hosted Under Armour Pre-National Invitational. Farah clocked a 24:21.7 in the men’s Blue Race at LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course, which stands as the 14th-best 8k time in program history. He has posted an all-time top 15 mark in all three of the Knights’ 8k races this season. Farah placed 111th in the meet’s premier race. Bellarmine’s women shifted to a 6k distance for the first time this season.…
