Paul Maurice: Florida Panthers Make Hat Trick History in Rout of Kraken

Florida Panthers coach Paul Maurice speaks after his team got a historic win against the Seattle Kraken on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2026. The Panthers (5-2-2) won 8-3 with Carter Verhaeghe getting a natural hat trick; that was Florida’s third such feat in the past three games which no NHL team had ever done.
