Men’s basketball selected 13th in 2026-27 LSC Preseason Poll

By: Ricky Baptist, Sports Information Director ODESSA, Texas (October 19, 2026) – Heading into the 2026-27 University of Texas Permian Basin men’s basketball season, the Falcons were projected to finish 13th in the Lone Star Conference, receiving 294 total points in the preseason polling of league head coaches, media and sports information directors and announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon (Oct. 19). The Falcons will be looking to prove the rankings wrong and make the postseason for the first time since the 2021-22 season.
