Female Athlete of the Week: Barbara Brito – Women’s Tennis – So. Barbara Brito (São Brás de Alportel, Portugal) went 2-0 in women’s tennis’ 4-2 win over Adelphi University on Saturday. She scored a 6-1, 6-3 victory over Sara Lindeman at No. 3 singles and also teamed with freshman Luna den Besten (Amsterdam, Netherlands) for a 6-1 triumph over Zuzanna Witkowska and Matilda Buchen at No. 3 doubles.
