Chargers Per Jason La Canfora, there will be a lot of chatter about Chargers S Derwin James Jr. ahead of the trade deadline. The Chargers are off to a surprising 0-6 start, and La Canfora notes the expectation is that they will have a “significant sell-off.” James is currently under contract through 2029, but La Canfora says the demand for a positionless defender with a unique skillset like James’ will be high enough that he could get moved still.
