Do the Mets want Tarik Skubal, and does Tarik Skubal want the Mets? | Baseball Night in New York

Main Story: Tarik Skubal’s potential free agency has the Mets considering whether the star pitcher fits their plans. But whether New York is interested—and whether Skubal would want to join the Mets—remains uncertain as other teams could also pursue him.

The discussion is speculative: no decision or preference from Skubal is established, and the Mets’ interest is not confirmed.

Skubal could become a major target for the Mets, but any fit depends on interest from both sides—and competition from other clubs.
