Morehead State center fielder Kyle Krupp chose the Eagles for the personal attention he found in the classroom and on the baseball field—and for the chance to leave his Louisville comfort zone. Now a vocal outfield leader, the mathematics major brings a team-first approach shaped by his family, faith and years playing baseball.

Krupp embraces Sonny Allen Field’s unusual short right-field porch, but says it can make plays tougher for outfielders and affects hitters differently depending on which side they bat from.

Bottom Line

Krupp measures his impact in more than stats: he wants to communicate, support teammates and keep improving while making the most of his time at Morehead State.
