Rollins was picked sixth in the Sunshine State Conference’s 2026-27 men’s basketball preseason poll, as Nova Southeastern topped the coaches’ rankings. The Tars return eight players who combined for 824 points last season and add seven newcomers.

By the Numbers
  • Rollins: 64 poll points, sixth of 11 teams.
  • Nova Southeastern: 9 first-place votes; Palm Beach Atlantic received the other 2.
  • Eight returning Tars combined for 824 points, 485 rebounds and 193 assists last season.
What’s Next

Rollins has exhibitions at UCF on Oct. 25 and against Florida Memorial on Nov. 9. The regular season opens Nov. 13 against Clark Atlanta at the South Region Crossover, hosted by Lynn University.

Bottom Line

The poll puts Rollins in the middle of the conference pack, but a sizable returning group gives the Tars continuity as they begin the season.
