Troy will host Tuskegee in a free, open exhibition Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Trojan Arena as it prepares for the 2026-27 season. The Trojans will showcase a largely rebuilt roster: only three players return, while 10 newcomers join the team. Preseason All-Sun Belt Second Team selection Aniya Hubbard is among the newcomers to watch.

By the Numbers
  • 3 returning players and 10 newcomers make up Troy’s revamped roster.
  • Troy was picked No. 2 in the Sun Belt preseason coaches’ poll.
  • The Trojans have finished among the conference’s top four in the regular-season standings for 10 straight seasons.
Yes, But

Troy’s roster turnover is substantial, but the program’s sustained conference success and strong preseason ranking signal high expectations. Hubbard brings proven production, though she sat out the past two seasons.

What’s Next

The exhibition against Tuskegee gives Troy its first opportunity to test its new lineup before the regular season begins.

Bottom Line

Troy enters the season with a retooled roster and a reputation to uphold; how quickly its newcomers mesh will be key.
