Cowgirls, Payne Collect Abilene Intercollegiate Title

ABILENE, Texas – Hardin-Simmons closed its fall schedule in championship fashion, capturing the team title at the Abilene Intercollegiate at Live Oak Golf Club on Tuesday and Addison Payne took the individual title. The Cowgirls posted a two-round total of 625, opening with a 305 before carding a 320 in the final round to finish six strokes ahead of runner-up East Texas Baptist (631). Centenary placed third at 650, followed by Schreiner (657), McMurry (662) and Texas Lutheran (688).
