Syracuse led in the first and third sets and tied the second at 20, but Duke finished each set stronger. The Orange’s best individual performances weren’t enough to change the result.

What's Next

Syracuse returns home Wednesday to face Boston College at 5 p.m. in the Women’s Building.

Bottom Line

The Orange showed they could challenge Duke early, but late-set runs proved decisive. They’ll look to turn that promising start into a complete performance against Boston College.
