Equestrian: Equestrian: Weilbaecher Qualifies for Regionals as Three Hawks Win at Johnson & Wales

Mila Weilbaecher (Maryville, Tenn.) won intermediate equitation on the flat to qualify for the Region 1 Finals, leading three Roger Williams University equestrian riders to first-place finishes Saturday, Oct. 31, at the Johnson & Wales competition. Breanna Frechette (Avon, Conn.) won her section of limit equitation on the flat, and Lani Schilling (Wellesley, Mass.) took first in her section of novice equitation on the flat. Weilbaecher topped a field of seven to join teammate Lily Scarth (East Setauket, N.Y.) as a regional qualifier in intermediate equitation on the flat.
