Ogilvy, Friedman Duo Advances to ITA Sectionals Semifinals

PHILADELPHIA – The doubles duo of Orly Ogilvy and Leena Friedman continued their strong showing at the ITA Sectionals at Penn on Friday, earning a straight-set victory over the No. 4-seeded pair from North Carolina to advance to the semifinals. Doubles Ogilvy/Friedman (Yale) def. No. 4 seed Anna Frey/Theadora Rabman (UNC Chapel Hill) 6-0, 7-5 Singles Maddy Zampardo (UNC Chapel Hill) def. Friedman (Yale) 7-5, 6-4 Up Next Play will continue on Saturday, Nov. 7. With a victory, Ogilvy and Friedman will punch their ticket to the NCAA Doubles Championships.
