Top 5 coaching candidates for the Arizona Cardinals
PHOENIX (BVM) – The Arizona Cardinals are parting ways with head coach Kliff Kingsbury after four seasons and a 4-13 record this year. Kingsbury ended his tenure with the Cardinals with a 28-37 record as Arizona’s head coach. His time with the Cardinals was highlighted by impressive starts to the season before falling apart in the second half.
Even though the team has struggled recently, there is still plenty in Arizona to make them a desirable landing spot for potential head coaches. Kyler Murray is one of the better young quarterbacks in the NFL and just signed an extension. The Cardinals have notable players like wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, safety Budda Baker and linebackers Zaven Collins and Isaiah Simmons. They are just one season removed from a playoff appearance and have the third overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft.
Now, the Cardinals join the Denver Broncos, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts and Carolina Panthers in the search for a new head coach. Here are the top five options for the Arizona Cardinals’ head coaching job.
