Who will be Georgia’s starting QB in 2023?
ATHENS, Ga. (BVM) – The Georgia Bulldogs are back-to-back national champions after Monday night’s dominant, 65-7 win over TCU in the College Football Playoff National Championship.
Sixth-year senior quarterback Stetson Bennett once again shined on college football’s largest stage by racking up 304 passing yards and six total touchdowns. The former walk-on finishes his legendary Bulldogs career with a 29-3 record as a starter and back-to-back national titles.

Attention will soon shift to the 2023 season when Georgia will almost assuredly begin as the No. 1 team in the country. Less certain is who will be under center for the Bulldogs next season as they aim for a three-peat.
Georgia currently has three scholarship quarterbacks projected to return next season and since the program didn’t land a quarterback in the 2023 recruiting cycle, an open quarterback competition in spring practice to decide Bennett’s successor is likely.
