DeAndre Hopkins on the move?; Potential spots for the WR
PHOENIX (BVM) – The Arizona Cardinals’ offseason started out with a bang following the firing of both their head coach and general manager. The moves could be just the beginning for a team that has some major decisions lying in front of them as they aim to find a more consistent future.
With questions surrounding much of the roster and football structure moving forward, star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins might just be at the top of the growing list of tasks Arizona will have to get to as the offseason begins to kick off. As rumors swirl about the possible market for the All-Pro wideout, the Cardinals will have a difficult decision in front of them as they aim to determine if 2023 will be a year they can compete in with a new head coach and a quarterback that will be coming off ACL surgery.
Sources: #AZCardinals plan to try and trade All-Pro WR DeAndre Hopkins this offseason. DHop has 2 yrs and $34.36M left on his contract and is likely to seek a new deal. Owner Michael Bidwill plans to express this to GM candidates.

At the age of 30, Hopkins racked up over 700 yards in just nine games after sitting out the opening of the season due to a PED suspension. The star wide receiver quickly returned to action after the break, proving that he was still one of the top players in the game.
With the Cardinals’ inability to get the offense going throughout the 2022 season, questions surround just where Hopkins prefers to be at. The former All-Pro wideout will have control of his landing destination after negotiating a no-trade clause in his last deal. As the offseason starts to heat up over the coming weeks and months, here’s five destinations for the Cardinals’ star wide receiver.
