Will the Packers make changes to their coaching staff for 2023?
GREEN BAY, Wis. (BVM) – The 2022 season was full of tough times for the Green Bay Packers. Despite a 3-1 start, the team lost seven of its next eight games to fall to 4-8. Unexpectedly, they won four straight contests after that, and got the help they needed to get back into the playoff picture.
Going into Week 18, the Packers had it all in front of them. One win at home against the Lions, who they had won 28 of their last 31 games against at Lambeau Field, and the Packers would be in the postseason for the fourth straight year.
Just as the Packers had given their fans hope, they failed to play up to expectations yet again as they had for most of the year. Mistakes, missed opportunities and poor offense dominated the headlines as the Packers fell to a Lions team playing only for pride in the season’s final week, missing the playoffs for the first time in head coach Matt LaFleur’s tenure.

Now, the question becomes what’s next for Green Bay? The biggest headline throughout the early portion of the offseason will certainly be the future of quarterback Aaron Rodgers, as he has already raised questions about if his time as a Packer is finished following what looked like a sentimental walk off the field on Sunday night.

However, this team’s struggles seemed to go further than the play of the future Hall of Famer. It appears they could use a bit of an overhaul in all three phases of the game, and that may lead them to look at making changes to the coaching staff.
