Liam Murphy Named BIG EAST Men’s Track Athlete of the Week

NEW YORK—Junior middle distance runner Liam Murphy (Millstone, N.J.) was named the BIG EAST Men’s Track Athlete of the Week in an announcement made by the conference office on Wednesday afternoon. The second career weekly conference honor for Murphy and his first in indoor track & field comes after he broke an 11-year-old facility record in the mile at Penn State last week.
