Streiff makes school history with 100th reception
NEW GLARUS, Wis. (BVM) — This Friday the New Glarus/Monticello Knights will look to continue their undefeated season after beating Poynette and Mont/Princeton/Green Lake in their first two games.
Knights senior WR and DB Nathan Streiff will also be looking to add to his new school record. Last week against Poynette, Streiff became the first New Glarus/Monticello receiver to reach 100 receptions.
The all-time leading receiver finished the night with 12 receptions for 187 yards along with two touchdowns and through two games has 17 receptions for 232 yard and two touchdowns
As a junior last season, Streiff had 62 receptions for 1,001 yards on his way to being named Capitol South Conference Offensive Player of the Year. He was also awarded first team all-conference honors as both a wide receiver and defensive back.
Last December, Streiff announced he would be continuing his football career at Carleton College in Northfield, Minn.
