Top 5 NFL draft fits for Texas RB Bijan Robinson

(BVM) – Bijan Robinson is the best running back prospect in the 2023 NFL Draft and the kind of talent that could immediately become one of the league’s best at the position.

The 5-foot-11, 215-pound junior racked up 1,894 yards from scrimmage and 20 touchdowns last season for the Texas Longhorns en route to first-team AP All-American honors. The gifted, three-down back has the ability to run effectively between the tackles and create explosive plays in space due to his freakish athleticism.

Although Robinson’s 40-yard dash time of 4.46 seconds at the 2023 NFL scouting combine placed him just outside the top five at the running back position, his impressive showing during the pass-catching drills proved that he’s just as dangerous catching the ball as he is toting it.

Whether you need Robinson to carry the ball 25 times or line up at wide receiver and create mismatches, the Doak Walker Award winner (given to the nation’s top running back) can do it at an elite level. It’s why Robinson is a near lock to hear his name called during the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft despite the running back position losing draft value in recent years (no RBs were taken in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft).

Robinson will likely be the betting favorite to win Rookie of the Year once the 2023 season kicks off so with that in mind, here are the top five fits for Robinson via April’s NFL draft.
