Trinity Baseball Holds On Against Eastern Mennonite
HARRISONBURG, Va. – Junior James Stefanowicz (Norwalk, Conn.) went 4-for-4 with three doubles, two walks, and three runs including the game-winning one in the ninth inning to lead the visiting Trinity College Bantams to a 12-11 victory over the Eastern Mennonite University Royals in baseball action this afternoon. Trinity improves to 6-3, going 3-1 during its three-day trip to Virginia, and returns to New England to host No. 8-ranked Endicott on Saturday for a noon doubleheader. Eastern Mennonite drops to 5-14. The Bantams led, 11-3, but gave up eight runs before breaking the tie in their last at-bats.
