Mancini Wraps Up Fencing Campaign on Final Day of NCAA Championships
DURHAM, N.C. — The Wayne State University fencing program wrapped up the four-day 2023 NCAA Fencing Championships from Cameron Indoor Stadium, as Ludovica Mancini (Rome, Lazio, Italy) fenced in the final two rounds of round robin action on Sunday afternoon. Mancini put a bow on her debut at the NCAA Championships, culminating in a 19th place overall finish in the women’s foil. The freshman compiled a 7-16 record for the five rounds, but had a 3-5 mark on Sunday (rounds four and five).
