Jaydon Blue commits to Texas
AUSTIN, Texas (BVM) — The Longhorns football Class of 2022 added a huge piece this week. Jaydon Blue, a Houston native, announced he committed the Longhorns on Tuesday.

The 5-foot-11, 205-pound running back from Houston was mulling other offers from colleges such as Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Arkansas, Ohio State, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M. According to ESPN, Blue is the No. 82 overall prospect in the Class of 2022 recruiting class.

During his career at Klein Cain High School, Blue has rushed for a total of 3,767 yards. He’s averaged 8.7 yards per carry and has scored 46 total TDs in his career according to MaxPreps.
Blue is not only a football player, but he also runs track for the Hurricanes. He ran the 100-meter dash his freshman and completed one race with a time of 10.97 seconds. He also runs the 4×100 relay.

After his junior season, Blue was awarded the District 15-6A offensive MVP. Blue has one more season of high school sports left. He’ll be aiming to finish his high school career on a high note.
