HOUSTON – The 2023 McDonald’s All-American boys game had it all. Played in Houston’s Toyota Center, the all-star exhibition game included familial ties, fierce competition, some lights-out shooting and an improbable comeback.
Despite leading for 37 minutes of game time, Team West allowed a furious second-half comeback as Team East came out on top, 109-106.
The 46th annual version of the McDonald’s All-American Game (first played in 1977) saw 24 of the country’s top high school basketball prospects showcase their talents on the national stage, but a few future stars shined brighter than the rest.
