Leverentz claims javelin title on day one of MIAC Championships
ARDEN HILLS, Minn. — The St. Catherine University track & field team completed day one of the MIAC Outdoor Championships at Bethel University on Friday led by fifth-year Bryana Leverentz. For the first-time in her career, Leverentz earned medalist honors in the javelin throw with a mark of 41.01m on her last attempt scoring 10 points for the Wildcats. Junior Chando Horvath placed 16th in the shot put with a mark of 10.69m before a trio of Wildcats competed in the long jump finishing in consecutive order.
