BLUFFTON, S.C. – Following a week where the Sand Sharks won its first Continental Athletic Conference Women’s Golf Championship, the accolades rolled in for USCB’s women’s golf team. Junior Ashleigh Mead took home CAC Player of the Year honors while Head Coach Cory Cottrell was named the CAC Coach of the Year. Mead was the only player in the field to shoot under par, after carding back-to-back subpar rounds.
