Top Kentucky guards in the NBA from the John Calipari era
NEW YORK (BVM) – Cason Wallace became the most recent in an impressive list of Kentucky guards who have been drafted into the NBA since John Calipari became the head coach of the Wildcats. The Dallas Mavericks selected Wallace 10th overall in the 2023 NBA Draft but he was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder, where he will join another Kentucky guard in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
Kentucky guards are becoming a common sight in the NBA and they tend to thrive in the league more often than not. Wallace has yet to play in the league but based on recent history, there is a good chance that he will have a solid NBA career.
