Joey DeMilio Collects Skyline XC Rookie of the Week Honors

PURCHASE, N.Y. – After a third straight race of leading the Manhattanville College men’s cross country team, freshman Joey DeMilio (White Plains, N.Y./White Plains) has been named the Skyline Conference’s Men’s Cross Country Rookie of the Week, for the week ending Sept. 24. DeMilio paced the Valiant runners at Sunday’s Mount Saint Mary Knight Invite as he finished ninth overall at the race. The White Plains native clocked in at 30:37.4 in the 8K race as the muddy conditions did little to interfere with his performance.
