The Top 5 SEC teams after Week 8
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (BVM) โ Two of the top five teams were on bye this past week, but that didn’t stop the SEC from having an exciting week of action. Ole Miss beat up on LSU, Alabama dominated in Tuscaloosa and Texas A&M continued its winning streak.
Thereโs a lot to look forward to this week, but before that happens, take a look at the top five teams in the SEC heading into Week 9.
- Kentucky (6-1, bye week)
Mark Stoops continues to do a great job with the now No. 12-ranked Wildcats. A team that continues to rely on Chris Rodriguez Jr. to run the ball has lofty expectations. But they continue to prove the doubters wrong.ย
After a loss to Georgia, the Wildcats will look to bounce back as they head into Starkville to take on the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
