Women’s Volleyball Earn Tri-Match Split

Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women’s volleyball spit a CUNYAC Tri-Match held at The APEX Main Gym on Saturday as it dropped a three-set decision (10-25, 11-25, 5-25) to Hunter College and then defeated Medgar Evers College in three straight (25-12, 25-14, 25-19). After losing the first two sets to the Hunter Hawks (14-5, 4-0 CUNYAC), the Lightning (2-12; 1-3 CUNYAC) opened the third with a 1-1 deadlock early. However, Hunter went on a 24 to 4 run to win the match. Arianna Calderon and Daria Hernandez had three kills each for Lehman, while Ana Mena posted 10 assists.…
