Soccer Drops 2-0 Decision To UCCS

Las Vegas, New Mexico – Nationally ranked University of Colorado – Colorado Springs defeated New Mexico Highlands 2-0. The loss dropped the Cowgirls’ record to 0-12-2 overall and 0-9-1 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. UCCS is now 10-3-3 overall and 8-1-1 in the conference. UCCS scored late in the first half to take a 1-0 lead to the intermission and added another goal less than three minutes into the second half to provide the margin of victory in the match.
