Cougars women’s hockey dominates the Bisons in Calgary

Calgary, AB – The MRU Cougars women’s hockey team took a dominant 6-1 victory over the University of Manitoba Bisons on home ice in Calgary Friday night. The first period was back and forth, with opportunities for both teams. Halfway through the period first-year Gabby Lindsay found third-year Kaia Borbandy who buried the puck to open the scoring part way through the period.The rest of the play continued scoreless and the Cougars took the first period 1-0.
